In tonight’s study we find that the conflict between the Pharisees and Jesus over the Sabbath comes to it’s boiling point when a man with a “withered hand” entered the synagogue. The Pharisees watched Jesus closely with an eye of accusation to see if they could find something He would do wrong, Jesus looked at the man with compassion and was moved to intervene on his behalf. Accusation is birthed out of our prideful desire to be proved right, compassion always leads to intercession. Through this hour we talk about the need for righteous judgment, true edification and lives of intercession that long for God’s heart to be revealed and His will to be accomplished in the lives of everyone He places in our path.
