Have you ever been lost? And by lost I mean you had a destination in mind but you just had no idea how to get there. Have you ever been there or have those moments? You know where you want to be and you’re going, but your GPS is not cooperating. It is just spinning and you get those dreaded words that just want to make you throw it out of the window, “recalculating, recalculating.” That’s the worst phrase to hear when you’re lost. I don’t know if there are any feelings in life that are more frustrating than feeling lost. The only thing that makes it worse is being lost at night. That just adds to the stress level and makes things look different as it is hard to see where you’re going…As equally frustrating as getting lost is, there is nothing better feeling than when you see your destination. When you feel lost and now you know where you’re supposed to be.
In this week’s sermon, our host Pastor Mike Williams of Grace Alliance Chapel reminds us of our mission, Jesus’ mission, and encourages us to “Stay on Mission.”
