Revelation 8 begins with silence in heaven. That silence is broken by the prayers of the saints and then concludes with fire being thrown to earth and seven angels preparing to blow trumpets of judgment. In the midst of all of this there is the realization that God has allowed our prayers to mix with His sovereignty, not that we, in any way, change His plans or purposes, but that He includes us, He invites us to be a part of His eternal plan to glorify Jesus and bring redemption to humanity. In this session, we discuss the two themes of Revelation: the character of Jesus and the sovereignty of God. In all that happens, God is not only in control, but we are also included and Jesus is always seen.
