Our study of the book of Philippians will continue next Wednesday, October 12th at 7:00. We will pick up at Philippians 1:27 and will finish chapter 1. In these verses Paul begins to turn his attention to the issues of internal conflict and external pressure that were affecting the church in Philippi. In this brief passage Paul deals with issues of nationalism, makes the gospel the standard for how we live our lives and sets the stage to reveal Jesus as not only the One who suffered so that we could be saved but the One who saved us so that we could suffer for Him. The study is held at the Kulynych’s home, 945 Bordentown Rd. in Burlington and is from 7:00 to 8:15 every other Wednesday night. We apologize but there is no child care available for this gathering.
