I decided to step away from John 16. One reason is because it’s Pentecost Sunday, the day that we remember what we call the birth of the Church, that we remember the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The promise of the Father that Jesus has been preparing the apostles for. It was when the day of Pentecost had fully come that that gift was given. But the good reason that I wanted to turn from John 16 to Acts 2 today is that we’re in desperate need for “Another Pentecost.” In this weeks sermon, Pastor Abie Kulynych as he invites us to consider our deepest need as it relates to the Pentecost.
