“For the redemption of their souls is costly.” Psalms 49:8 (NKJV)
This is not your typical Christmas verse and yet it is right on point. The coming of Jesus, the King who lives forever, was for this reason, namely to bring redemption to our souls in a very costly way. The laying down of his life for the salvation of many was truly costly for him. The question is, how do you prepare for Christmas celebration, as different as it maybe this year?
