Tonight we’re going to walk through John’s description of the crucifixion of Jesus. Each gospel writer told the story of the cross, but none of them told it completely or comprehensively. The Holy Spirit inspired Matthew, Mark, Luke and John to write not only what they remember and not only what they have been told, but to write what needed to be heard by the audience they were writing to. And God knew he would join them all together so we would all get to hear every piece of the story. Each one of them was inspired to tell a part of the story. In this week’s sermon “It Is Finished!” Pastor Abie Kulynych concentrates on John’s part.
