On Friday, March 3rd, we will be having our Generations Women’s Fellowship starting at 7pm at Rose of Sharon Christian bookstore, 315 High St in Burlington (use the rear entrance which is accessible from the public parking lot in the back). Come and bring a friend or two for a night of connecting, laughing, learning and praying! We want to help bridge the gap of generations and create a safe place for women 18 and over to come together to share our hearts and help one another based on prayer and God’s Word and build relationships to encourage and “mutually mentor” each other.
We are very excited to share that our speaker for this month is Gina Montemore! This lovely lady is going to share her adoption story. Her sweet spirit and tender heart will be a blessing to you – please come and bring a friend to hear her share the details of her journey!
Our Community Outreach for this month is in support of 1st Way of Burlington County. This wonderful organization located at 500 High Street in Burlington City provides clothes, diapers, formula and support for disadvantaged mothers and their babies. This office serves 30-50 walk-ins a week and needs help with spreading the word, providing donations of clothing (maternity clothes, infant clothes and children’s clothing up to size 12), as well as assistance with volunteering and finances. We will be taking an offering in our March meeting to help 1st Way, so please prayerfully considering giving financially. We will also be sharing information about how you can volunteer to help hand out donations and setting up a group tour of their space on High Street. Please let Melissa Kulynych know if you are interested in attending the tour or have any questions. There will be a sign up sheet at our meeting on March 3rd. Let’s come together to support this worthy cause!
